Set down the previous action, notice where you are, and choose one specific next step.
Mark the transition
Put down a work object or move your hands away from the keyboard. Notice the chair, floor or desk. The previous task may remain unfinished; the pause simply marks a change of direction.
Look beyond the task
Notice an ordinary object at a comfortable distance and blink naturally. Include one sound from the actual room. These details can help you recognise that there is a wider setting than the task in front of you.
Make the next action concrete
Replace finish the project with open the document and write the first sentence. Replace sort everything out with check one detail. A small action gives you a clear place to begin.
Keep it repeatable
You do not need to listen to a full lesson every time. After learning the desk reset, use a short version: contact, room, next action. Record the action you chose in My progress if that helps you remember it.
