What will I do?
Learn about guided, restful awareness. This introduction follows 5 written prompts, with a choice to read at your own pace or use an available on-device voice.
Make it comfortable
Start with a supported position and an ordinary, undemanding point of attention. You can skip a prompt, keep your eyes open, or stop. The suggested duration is a guide, not a target to achieve.
The complete guidance
Support the body
Choose a comfortable seated or lying-down position. Keep all flames extinguished. Adjust your support before beginning.
Notice contact
Feel the points where the body is supported. There is no need to remain perfectly still if an adjustment would help.
Visit the body
Gently notice the hands, arms, face, torso, legs and feet. Skip any area you do not wish to focus on.
Rest with awareness
Notice natural breathing and the contact beneath you. This exercise does not require you to fall asleep.
Return gradually
Notice sounds and the room. Move slowly, taking the time you need before standing.
