Mindfulness!

By definition mindfulness is simply paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, without judgment. In its essence it is a state of being when your body and mind are in the same place at the same time. That means bringing attention to what you are doing and where you are, without worrying about the future or the past.

Mother Teressa once said "Be happy in the moment, that's enough. Each moment is all we need, not more.”. on the similar note, mindfulness helps us to connect with ourselves and others, react productively to stressful situations, and find more balance in our busy lives.

What's in for you? The benefits are countless but the ones we could see on the surface are :

Decreased stress response, increased immune system activity, improved ability to regulate emotions, increased ability to relax, Improvements in chronic pain levels, improvements in anxiety and depression symptoms, improved ability to experience moments with greater clarity and objectivity

We believe that mindfulness is the simplest of the tools that can help us achieve a more blissful state of mind. In a busy world, the mind is constantly pulled from multiple dimensions on different tangents. This scatters our thoughts thus constantly swinging our emotions resulting in stress and anxiety leading to depression. Most of us don’t have a simple minute to sit down and simply not do!

Do you think is this the well being you always wanted?

All we ask here is for only a few minutes each day of mindfulness is enough to enhance your mental health thus achieving a positive balance between your mind, body and soul.
