By definition mindfulness is simply paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, without judgment. In its essence it is a state of being when your body and mind are in the same place at the same time. That means bringing attention to what you are doing and where you are, without worrying about the future or the past.
Mother Teressa once said "Be happy in the moment, that's enough. Each moment is all we need, not more.”. on the similar note, mindfulness helps us to connect with ourselves and others, react productively to stressful situations, and find more balance in our busy lives.
